[Braillenote] security code

I have a action tech wireless modem on my desk top.  I understand 
that I need a security code so that only the people in my house 
can use it.  I'm buying an ambicon for my BN BT is this security 
thing going no effect the Ambicon or the BN BT?  uthanks in 
advance.
