Sarah Cranston, Thank you very much for giving me directions on how to use my cell phone as a modem with my BrailleNote. It took me forever before I got around to trying it, but now that i have it works just fine.
I did get paired successfully before, but have the entire procedure written out confirmed that I did that part right. The part I didn't do right was what to fill in for phone number. I was filling in the phone number of my Internet provider to try to get Earthlink dialup to work. I'd still like to get that to work, but I am very happy to be able to use GPRS. Is *99# a code to tell the phone to use GPRS? Part of the reason I hadn't tried very hard to get connecting through Cingular to work was that I couldn't imagine what to fill in for phone number, user name, and password. Thanks again.
