Hi Jonathan, I too have had concerns since Friday when I heard of these messages, and got back on the Braille Note List. I am seriously thinking of buying an m power, but was concerned about losing files. Also, I have the braille scan'r. When I called tech support we discovered together with the 6.1.1 update one could not load information from the scan'r unto the Braille Note as you could in the past. Has this been rectified with the 7.0 update in the m Power? I hope so as much information would be again available to load into the Braille Note. Thank you. Linda Paul
