So, Dean, when you say completely discharge the battery, do you mean run the BN until it actually shuts offf? I typically plug it in when I get the low battery warning. Previously, if I let it go down to the point of the unit shutting down, I had to perform a system reset to get it back up and running. What constitutes a complete discharge?

Hello Stacey,

This number normally gets reset when the battery gauge is recalibrated.
This should occur with normal use, that is to say that if a person
completely charges and discharges the battery a few times in a row, it
should calibrate without the need to use the support information mode.

Subject: [Braillenote] Battery cycles

Hi Dean or Jonathan,

Can you explain to me something about battery cycles? Mine is at
24, and I haven't had to recalibrate my battery yet. I usually
run it flat. Do these battery cycles ever go back to one or do
they just keep going up. I use a vnqt mpower.
Thanks,
Stacey and Amigo
