Hi Carol,
Since only one of the three 1 Gig Sandisk CF cards failed to work in the
rear slot of the mPower, I'm not sure that it is a model issue. The next
time I get some sighted assistance over here, I'll have them look to see
if there is something on the card labels that might point to a difference
between what are otherwise identical cards. I would think that if one
works then they all should work. It might simply be that these cards
don't necessarily last forever and I use mine all of the time on several
devices. I understand that Sandisk is generally considered to be a
quality product and most of the other Sandisk cards I use work fine. The
weird part is that it works in the side slot but not in the rear slot and
seems to work fine in the rest of the devices I use it in.
