I am pleased to hear that you just received your mpower.
I looked it up for you, and the chapter you might want to start
with is 1.4 orientation.
Also, make sure that when you take your braillenote out of the
box, that you charge it for 3 hours.

I just got my MPower. I found the on/off button, but can not
find the record button. There are 2 round slots for cables and a
funny looking thing at the end. On the other side is the reset.
What chapter is this detailed description of all the controls and
ports and slots.

That is your record button. You should press it again and you
will hear a double beep which means it is off. A single beep
means you are recording.
You should probably read the user guide, I believe it is the
section of checklist of equipment that will tell you about the
items on the braillenote itself.
