Jose,
I have my email set at 200 kb. If it hits anything bigger the download stops
and I get a message that says something like "This email is larger than the
maximum size allowed." You can use i to check th3 size of the email and find
out if you want it. There are a lot of different options for dealing with the
email. They are listed in the help key. If it's spam you can just delete it
from the server and not download it. If it's something you want you can
dowload it anyway, even though its bigger than the size allowed.
The size limit just stops the automatic download and allows you to make a
choice about what to do with the larger emails.
I don't get much spam because I've only been online for a few months. But I do
have some well meaning but misguided family members who pass along a lot of
joke and inspirational junk mail. Some of it is huge. So I use the size limit
to get rid of that stuff.
