<smiling> And, you have a dozen questions. BTW, the word is
BrailleNote, not Braille Note. Also the name of the new device is
MPower, not M Power. I say this only because so many of us who are
blind, do not get to see the names of the products in Braille, so we
cannot know how they are spelled. So, I end up searching for this
type of info and correcting folks when I see that they have gone
astray with their spelling.
Does the gps describe intersections or is that information you need to put in.
For example, the intersection has a light, has an island or any similar
information that is helpful to know.
The GPS doesn't give info about intersections like you describe, but
you can make an intersection a user POI, (Point Of Interest), and put
in whatever info you want in its description.

You can buy them off the shelf.

It doesn't need virus protection because Windows-CE is not prone to
them, and also the interface doesn't allow for much viruses.

There are many strengths of the BN family. Good word processing,
email, web and the ability to transport the device easily.
Weaknesses, hmmm, I think probablyone of the weaknesses that I've
noticed is that since it is a PDA, and does its job so well, folks
think it is a full fledged computer. Many spend time wishing that it
could do more than it does.

Yes, it is being considered. You may want to research DAISY books on
the Internet. It's quite interesting reading.
Hope all this has helped.
