Linda; If there is any chance you might want to print or emboss from your machine, go for the MPower. The PK does not have any printing or embossing features. The MPower has more memory, recording ability, a radio feature, data base feature and I am fure I missed some of the other new items. I just got my transplant back on 2/28 and love it. It also has two choices for speach output. I also like the keyboard of the MPower. the keys are not to close together. When I saw the PK, I knew, right away, it had to many keys for me and they were to close together, for someone with large hands. I have always liked to braille more than type and will never give up the BT key board. Hope I have helped you some. terry Powers
