I have long dreamed of that. What a nice feature that would be: just "countdown timer" in the time menu. Sorry, Dean, if replying to these suggestions is not a good thing. I figure that the more response HW sees from an update suggestion, the more they know it is wanted by more than just one user. Sorry again, and please tell me to stop if I should just leave it alone.

Alex

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] Suggestion of improvement for next
upgrade

I know you are being completely bombarted with suggestions for
future upgrades, so I am sorry to add to the flood, but there is a feature I need. :-)
I would really appreciate a countdown timer or alarm feature.
Somehow I thought that would be part of the stop watch, but of course I shouldn't have assumed such a thing. The stopwatch can be used for some things, but it won't help a person to not burn supper, or remember to call someone back in 15 minutes. You'd have to look at how much time past, and if you have a defective sense of time as i do, you simply don't look again at the correct time. The planner isn't really suited either, because it takes too much setup time. I know I could get a timer, but they wouldn't be as nice and convenient and always present as my BrailleNote is.
Thanks for your attention to all our suggestions.
