Mike;
What do you mean about leaving the record button inabled. After pressing it
once, it will beep, now it is on. After you record, you press it again and it
will beep twice. If you are not recording, then it has to be inabled or off.
Terry Powers
If you are not turning it off after recording, that sure would kill your
battery!

Subject: [Braillenote] service reset question

Hi all. Well I received my repaired voicenote m power the other day for the
second time, apparently it was the battery. At least now the percentage
doesnot drop off swiftly like it did before. I'm wondering if someone from
tech support knows officially if the setting for whether the record button
is active makes a difference in the service reset. If the setting is set so
the record button is off, will the button also not work if a service reset
is needed? I had mine set to off before, and I'm wondering if I had it set
differently if the service reset might have worked, and thus I may not have
had to send my unit in twice. If it makes a difference, I'll leave the
record button enabled.
