Hi, again. The Linda who is new to the list said that she heard the current
version of 7.0 would be added and that all data would be transplanted. That's
how x'the supposed to be, Linda, but I would strongly suggest you tell them to
install 7.0 (if you've paid for it) and ask them to transplant your data. If
you don't say something and you lose all your data which I did, make sure you
know where and how you backed it up, or keep a list of your data in hard copy
which I did. I asked Humanware to clean and check the cells on my Braille
display, and a couple of them feel like they're on the brink.
It's an excellent product, but communication is key. Don't forget to remind
the repair department of what you need and make followup calls to be sure
things are getting done. Humanware could have installed 7.0 without my
requesting it and they could have sent me the sd card with the update on it
which I paid for. As long as we communicate in a manner which Humanware will
hear us, I think there should be changes.
Would someone from Humanware please conment on this battery calibration
situation so we don't have to keep guessing and wondering? Thanks.
Nancy
