Andy,
I just used my unit until my battery went flat. I've not
recalibrated my vnqt mpower yet because muy gage is accurate. I
can't get the cycle to go back to one though. I've tried doing a
reset at zero percent after plugging in thr ac adaptor but my
cycle is still at 28.
Can you make it go back to one or does it just keep counting up?
Just wondering. My battery seems fine. I can get about two days
out of a charge.

Subject: [Braillenote] battery calibration
Hi Ann,
I'm assuming you've got a classic. I tried to make the
KeySoft7
battery cycle similar to the mPower battery cycle without making
it too
confusing for existing users. Since someone had designed in the
ability
to enable and disable the AC adaptor, I though I might as well
use it, so
I could make the unit do a discharge and then recharge itself and
be ready
for use.
I think we might change it in the next KeySoft release though; it
does
seem to have confused some people, and also the hardware for
enabling and
disabling the AC adaptor seems to have some minor problems
(nothing that
will affect normal operation - but not all units seem to turn the
AC off
properly, which would make for a discharge that takes a very
long time)
If you want it to work in the old way, just plug the AC in for 10
seconds
until the unit is happy, then unplug it again. As I said, we'll
try to
tidy everything up next time round.
regards,
Andy.
