Hi, folks: Well, this is probably my final word on the subject.
No one would argue that a BN can do everything a PC can do. What
I was reacting to, and what others have reacted to is what feels
to us a a supercilious attitude put forth by those who make this
point. This is a list with many different types of folks on it,
ranging from old-time, hard-core computer programmers and users
to young kids in high school, and everyone in between. Each
person has his or her story, and his or her reason for using a
BN. We need to be sensitive to this. We can still make our
points, without making those who may not be as technically
involved (not the right word, but I think you know what I mean)
feel inferior. Many times, it isn't what you say, but how you
say it. We all need to watch ourselves. Thanks, and God bless.
Bob and Maxy-wax P.S. Diane Garrett: Good point, about upgrading
the memory; I'd forgotten about that, but I'll look into it.
