If I found myself in a situation where I was frequently called upon to
move large and heavy objects from place to place, I would probably buy a
truck as opposed to a compact car. This doesn't mean that I look down
on people who drive compact cars. This doesn't mean that I feel
superior to people who drive compact cars. However, if I had a friend
who had a compact car, and was constantly frustrated because he was
called upon to move large and heavy objects from place to place, and
couldn't fit them into the trunk of his car, I might make a friendly
suggestion that he consider acquiring another vehicle, such as a larger
car, a van, or a truck. I don't understand how such a suggestion could
be considered a put down.
