Dear Rachel,

I'm trying to put myself in the place of those who have only one device.
HumanWare could easily put a braille display on the classics which were
traded in for transplants. They could also offer a deal where anyone
currently using a classic could trade it in for an MP for the same price as
a transplant and use the old classics for loaners.

: Terri,
:
: Since you suggest that in a theoretical loaner program,
: deaf-blind should have priority, and you further suggest that HW
: should use old classics for these loaners, I'm wondering how you
: propose the deaf-blind be able to take advantage of this? Since
: the thing taken from the classics to use in the implant is the
: Braille display, it would seem to me that it's not a viable
: suggestion.
:
: You are fortunate, as you say, but you might do well to put
: yourself in the place of people for whom you are suggesting
: solutions.
