Subject: [Braillenote] bookshare and accessing or downloading from it

         Hi Folks,

I received a call from Rhonda today, stating some people are having
trouble connecting to bookshare with their MPower qt models.

I don't have any of my four qt models home right now to test this
out, but I can tell you that I tested the issue on my MPower BT unit
and it worked perfectly in first accessing the bookshare site, then
logging in, and then I changed my password.
Next I went to new books and downloaded a book in brf format, with no problem.

I next tried it with one of my three PK units and had again no
problem with accessing the web page, then logging in, and downloading a book.
Keysoft seven works fine at least with the PK and MPower braillenote bt units.
I also was training yesterday at a customers home on the MPower qt
unit and she had her unit and I had mine, both MPower qt units. we
were using the ambicom wireless cf card and connecting to bookshare
and downloading books just fine.

As soon as I can I will chekc out the MPower qt units to see if it is
something with that specific model.

Bookshare is just as easy and accessible with keysoft 7 with classic
or MPower models, and that is my experience with NLS web braille too.
Roger
