Thanks, everyone. My remote synthesizer now works, though with a
pronounced delay; it seems better for listening to documents than
listening to what one types. Anyway, my Braille terminal still
remains blank, no matter what I do. Another strange thing: after
using the remote synthesizer, my BN, even in writing this email,
pronounces "A" as "uh". Strange.

You might need to change com port in the JFW.ini file.

Subject: [Braillenote] Bluetooth, keyboard emulator, remote
synthesizer
Hello all:
Sorry to keep bringing this up, but I have no idea what is going
on. I have a BNMPBT 32 and am using a Cellink BTA adapter to
connect with my PC via bluetooth. ActiveSync works fine, but
Jaws refuses to switch to keynote gold synthesizer. Similarly,
nothing happens in my Braille Terminal. Com ports match; the
device is on com1 and ActiveSync recognizes that, but Jaws, set
to com1 as well, does not.
If anyone can help me, that would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks,
Alex
