First, download the Jaws KeyNote driver from the HW website.
Extract the files in the .zip file to this directory:
C:/documents and settings/(computer owner)/application
data/freedom scientific/jaws/(desired version)/settings/enu
After that, the option, "KeyNote SA or BrailleNote" will appear
as an option under the synthesizer sub-menu in the menu bar of
the Jaws window. Select it AFTER, AFTER, AFTER you have started
the remote synthesizer on the BrailleNote side. The first words
from BrailleNote should be, "leaving menus". Keep in mind that
BN speech will be very slow the first time, so make sure you
speed it up, unless you like that speed. Personally, it would
drive me crazy.

Good luck,
Alex

Set up any drivers and stuff your screenreader needs, like the
Jaws keynote driver for Jaws. Then go to the remote synthesizer
option on the Main Menu, selecting your connection type (serial
or bluetooth). Select the KeyNote option in the reader's
options, and you should be all set. As stated with my problem,
make sure (if possible with your version) that ActiveSync does
not take the same port.

Good luck,
Alex
