Hi Nancy,

You can listen to the radio with speech turned off. But, to turn the volume
up, are you using 4 6 with the spacebar or 4 6 with enter? If you are using
the 4 6 with the spacebar, then try it with enter.

Subject: [Braillenote] Listening to the Radio

Hi, I'm perplexed and probably missing something again, grin.
With the speech turned off, I preset an oldies station called
Cola 99.9. I entered on it and the radio came on very low. I
used 4-6 chord to turn it up, and I could barely hear it. This
is probably a dumb question, but do I need to have the speech on
to listen to the radio? The manual said one should set the speech
to about 5, but I'm wondering if one can turn it up to 10 or 12,
then will the 4-6 chord make it louder? My hearing aids are on
and working. With speech off, I went to Media player, Fm radio,
entered on my first and oqy preset, and nothing happened. I
wanted to listen to the station, and it didn't work. Thanks in
advance.
Nancy
