HI vicky. Well I had looked at the section to which you refer and thought I'd done everything correct, however after your suggestion reviewed it all again and now when I connect via ActiveSync and the PK and PC think they are connected I then establish a new connection, step through the devices until I reach the USB connection, leave out the phone number and other irrelevant things, add the record then when I try to connect I get a device error 608.
Any more help appreciated from anyone I'm sure I'm doing something stupid here and my mind isn't thinking properly probably to do with the 10 hour flight and 8 hour backward timeshift.
