Hi there.  I don't see why the deaf-blind community should have to pay
extra for something so necessary and think it's disgraceful that they
should.  As I said before, no one knows when such a facility may come in
handy.  Let's hope Humanware will act soon and be a little more
understand about it.

Thank you very much Michelle.  I know people who have been talking to
HumanWare about this for the last 3-4 years with no results.  Now
Freedom Scientific has an application out for this.  Granted it costs
about $1200 and is a separate piece of software.  I certainly hope HW
will do something with this application.

As for some background on me.  I am blind an dalso have a mild to
moderate
hearing loss.  While I can use a telephone without need for a TTY.   I
am
speaking for those who cannot.  As I have said, this application would
also be useful for blind people who work in situations where access to
this equipment is essential, like your situation Michelle.
