Hi Diane,
I know that with KeySoft 5.1 there were lots of problems with the
planner and they made a repair utility that would try to recover your
data and fix the problem.
I honestly had not noticed that something similar is now on the menu.
I would assume, unless Humanware staff say otherwise, that this is
basically the same utility for KeySoft 7.
It would only need to be run if you get an error in the planner, but
it would have been nice if they'd included something in the manual
about this. I too could not find a word about it in the manual.
If you start the utility and hit the help key, it does tell you
something, but it is not helpful.
Hopefully, someone from Humanware will explain further?

know what the planner Maintenance Utility is and what I am meant to do with
