I did download it.  Before doing so, I won't able to synchronize either
contacts or the Planner.  After downloading and installing it, the
contact worked for a while but now everything is at a standstill..

I don't have the original message anymore, but did you say the problem
of not being able to sync started once upgrading to version 7.  If that
is the case do you have the correct version of keysync running, or is it
still the same version you were using for keysoft 6? If your not sure
you have the correct version go to
http://www.humanware.com/Resources/KeySoft7Upgrade.asp
and search for the keysync link to download it.
