Ann; You would not even need a device for the sighted, they could use the speach or connect to a computer. I think HW has some kind of display already for someone to follow the BN display. This also could be used. Terry Powers

Hmmmm, well, shoot, if it's possible, then it ought to be done. The BrailleNote has fantastic Braille, and the interface is so friendly. I'd hate to see folks buying other equipment merely to get TDD support. Could this be a module like French or Spanish? I have no idea what the developmental costs of such a thing would be, but it might be worth it because you not only have the possible market of the deaf-blind, but you have the market of the blind who want to talk to them and to those who are just deaf. I could see this appealing to folks who work in call centers. For example, here in Rochester, the local Association for the blind has the contract for the 211 service. Rochester, as many of you may know is the location for NTID, the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. We've got a whopping lot of folks living in this area who are deaf and who need 211 services. Just my crazy thoughts for a Friday morning. Ann P. -- Ann K.
