Well, in playing around some more, I did finally get the Keynote driver to work with the 7.10 beta of Jaws. Now, whether it was copying the correct files to the drivers/speech/KGoldSA folder in Jaws 7.10, or whether it was restarting Jaws after entering the remote synthesizer mode on the BN, or both these things, I just can't say for sure. For, I had some driver files already in the Jaws 7.10 folder for speech drivers, but they didn't have the same date as the ones I transferred to make things work. But, I can't remember, though, if those drivers were installed by default, or if I just copied the wrong ones. However, in the end, I copied the two files from my Jaws 7.0 folder, meaning the kgoldsa.jls and the kgoldsa.JSF.
Also, although I do believe someone had already mentioned this on the list before and I was just too lazy to go to the archives, to answer the question Joseph asked last night, Eloquence did not work as a remote synthesizer. For, when I was using Eloquence and then went into the remote synthesizer mode, the Keynote Gold speech would take over and give me the info on my PC. Then, when I exited the remote synthesizer and went back to the BN itself, the Eloquence speech voice I was using took over once again. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
