Robert, I'm not sure; but Australia may take a different type of adapter.

Hello,
I don't understand, I have one piece to my charger.
It goes from the wall outlet straight to the braillenote.
So please give more information about this new charger you have.
Robert

Subject: [Braillenote] Adapters

Hi listers

Can someone from HumanWare please tell me why the power packs
were
changed from a simple one-piece affair with a square pack which
plugged
into the wall, to a two-piece affair? The chord of the part
which plugs
into the wall is thick and cumbersome to carry around. It was
possible
to wind the old power packs up and just carry them around but
it's
harder with these new ones.

Is the reason for the switch because the think wiring was so
fragile and
the packs kept breaking, or that the two-piece packs supplied
more
length, or is it another reason entirely?

Would love some enlightenment on this. Also, is it possible to
buy an
extra adapter or power pack to use at work, study or whatever?

Thanks.

Michele
