This is Joseph. To upgrade your mPower, you need the following items:
An SD card with 512 mB or less (should be formatted)
Your product key
Nk.bin (the actual upgrade software)

Since upgrade procedure is different between
Classic and mPower, you need ot perform procedures that are different from
Classic.
1. Insert the SD card with the ypgrade. Make sure that you have received the
message about SD card ready.
2. Go to Main Menu. Now, press reset with dots 4-6. You'll hear beeps.
3. After the beep, press dots 1-2. After another beeps, press reset with
dots 4-5. The upgrade will start.

When upgrading your mPower, at the Main Menu, be sure to press reset with
dots 4-6, not 4-5, as this applies to Classic Units. I hope this informaiton
may help you.

Subject: [Braillenote] Help! Please!

I e-mailed support, but maybe while I'm waiting for them (since they may be
busy) I'll ask if someone on the list can help. I'm desperate!

I got my BN-m-power yesterday and have enjoyed it but I'm afraid I've broken
it.

As recommended, I wanted to upgrade the Keysoft via the flash card.

I plugged the BN into the AC, (not air conditioner)! turned it on, display
and speech were all ready. Put the flash card in (I think I did it right)
the BN said the flash card had been received, I pressed the reset button
plus dots 4 and 5, the machine beeped, then went dead. I can't get it to
respond, and the instructions said I'd hear sounds that it was loading
right.

I hope I didn't break it.
