Hi Alex:
I tried doing what you asked about, and I sure don't see a way. It would almost seem that you'd have to use one for each class. You could, however, create your fields with several lines between each. It may work that way, and you select the type for each field. Sorry I wasn't more help.

What I am trying to do is, essentially, have a few default values
to choose from. There are only seven or eight subjects I would
ever use in this one database, so can I just make a list of
defaults and pick one? From what I have read, it seems as if that
is currently not possible. I was hoping it was, however, as I
have found many things either not mentioned in the manual, or
suggested that would not work, actually do work if you can find
an alternative way of doing them.

Alex

Hi Alex:

If it's a keybase you set up, each time you enter a field name,
you have the option of string, number, yes or no, float, time,
date. You can select what you want for each field. I honestly
don't know that this would work for what you want. I did it for
a phone book, banking, and perscriptions. I'd love to know what
works for you.

Subject: [Braillenote] Multiple string selection in one field?

Hi all,

So, is it possible to have several strings set up as choices for
one field? I have a class notes database; can I just tell KeyBase
my classes and put an E, press enter, and have English
automatically filled in?

Thanks,
Alex
