Hello Rhonda,
I tried what you said and it still didn't work. It says the same thing
again. Do you think if I deleted the e-mail folders and then created them
again that it would help? Thanks for the info.
Sincerely,
Jo

Hi Jo:
You will lose your E-mail when you do this, but here is what you do:
(note) Before deleting anything, make sure if you have created any of
your own folders in the Email Folder section that you move them up to your
compact flash card or the flash drive. Also, keep in mind that any E-mail
stored in the inbox will not be able to be retrieved.)
1. From the Main Menu, press F for the file manager.
2. Press E to erase a file.
3. Go to the Flash Drive, and press Enter.
4. Go to the Keylist folder.
5. At the "list of files" prompt, press Space with X, (read with x", so
that "hidden" files are shown.
6. Look for the email folderddcdb.
7. Press Enter. You will be given information that the file contains a
database. You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete it.
8. You will want to press Y.
9. This file is the one which is corrupted, and it contains the database
records of the e-mail database only.
10. After this file is deleted, go in to KeyMail, and select the option
to Write an e-mail.
11. You will get a prompt about the database not existing, and the BN
will ask whether to create an associated database.
12. Press Y. for "Yes", and a blank database will be created.
13. You may have to re-create your customized folders, depending on
definition files used.
14. (Make sure you have a file called e-mail foldersddklt. You won't
see the extension when viewing the file on the BN, although the extension
means KeyList (TEXT) in the KeyMail folder of the Flash Disk.
15. This is the file which governs how the database is displayed. Make
sure it's there before deleting the database file. If it's not, "COPY,"
(don't move) it from the KeySoftstKeyMail directory of the KeySoft System
Disk (where it is burned, along with the other definition files of
databases factory installed on the BN (not customized databases the user
creates.
