You need to have ActiveSync on your computer to perform any type of
synchronization; and, if memory serves, you do have ActiveSync 3.8
installed? Anyway, If you just want to sync files, then ActiveSync alone
will handle that. Otherwise, if you want to sync the address list and
planner with Outlook's contacts and calendar, then you need to install the
KeySync application on your PC, which you can get from the HW website.
Then, when you're setting up your ActiveSync partnership, you wouldn't check
the contacts and calendar to be synchronized, as you would use the KeySync
program for those. When connected via ActiveSync, and after installing
KeySync, you would go to utilities and then synchronization on the BN.

Subject: [Braillenote] Somehow I got it to work almost

Hi all,
I am not sure how I did it, but I finally got my pc and the braillenote to
connect to one another. However, even though I told active sync to sync now
and I used bluetooth, nothing happened. In other words, I know I have
contacts and planner information that should be going to the devices, I
don't see anything. Can anyone help with this issue. By the way the resolve
items in the active sync says it's unavailable. Also I went to the active
sync options list and checked all that I wanted to sync, contacts, calendar.
So what is missing?
Thanks.
