this is truly the saddest of news. I have been privileged to work
with Dean through his help on this list, but in particular with my
Braille Note classic when I really needed it to work for a job task I
was given by my supervisor. Dean was there for me almost as soon as
I emailed the problem. He was a strong supporter of this list and,
even when people strayed from topics and he had to be stern, he was
kind and respectful. I want to extend my prayers and deepest
sympathy to his family, Humanware, and, a little selfishly, to all of
us on this list who loved his kindness and expertise.
