Hello Mellisa,
here are the steps to save a document as a different type.
1.  when in a you are in the document you want, press control s the unit
prompts either document has not been modified file name, or document has
been modified  file name.
step 2.  aafter the prompt, hold control and press X until you here the file
type you want .
step 3.  when you get to the file type you want release the control key and
your unit will prompt file name.
step 4.  type the name you want and hit enter, and the document will now be
saved as the file type you want to be able to read it on the computer.
