Hi there,

We had one for some months that didn't calibrate however hard we tried and just died each time it got too low, hardly ever saying "critical". As this was a second battery, we just learned to live with it. Then, a day came! It suddenly announced it needed to calibrate! "wow, we hadn't heard that!" To cut a long story short, it's now calibrated and appears fine, though we're not sure just how much time we're getting from it. The only conclusion we drew was that this suddenly happened after we'd had to use it extensively over a period of days, often plugged in, because we had heaps of mail to collect between us and no computer. "Go figure if you can!"

My advice is not to worry too much but talk to Technical Support if you feel you should have a battery replacement.

I hope this helps.
