Rhonda,
This is Joseph. Where did you got this information? Also, when
you plug your
WiFi card or if you leave your Bluetooth receiver turned on,
it'll cause the
battery to flatten in a short time.

Subject: [Braillenote] Battery Information

I read an interesting bit of information. It may help answer
with some
questions about the battery.

BrailleNote mPower users are advised that if after using the
internal modem,
the BrailleNote is switched off and the connection is not
terminated with
the disconnect dial-up connection option in the connectivity
menu, the
battery could be flattened in a very short space of time. This
is because
the modem actually remains on, even though the power switch is
physically
off. It is recommended that the dial-up connection is always
terminated
through the connectivity menu to avoid this situation.
