I certainly didn't notice a problem with my display after the transplant.
However, I did tweak the Intensity setting in Braille Display options,
cranking it up to 9. With age, my display, which is three years old, is a
little soft, so tweaking the intensity made it a bit crisper.
I'm not sure if when you send your unit in for transplantation if
they check over and clean the Braille display while they are
working on it or not.
My understanding is that they do check the display for bad cells or any
other problems. If anything serious is found, Humanware is supposed to
advise you and you will need to get the problem repaired before the
transplant can proceed.
