Hi Kevin,
I made a similar suggestion a couple of months ago. I am in high school and
currently taking AP statistics and would be absolutely ecstatic once
Humanware implements more advanced scientific functions. Humanware has been
doing an excellent job at developing the BrailleNote family of products and
I encourage them to keep up the good work. Just wanted to let you know that
you were not alone in making a suggestion such as this one. Although a more
advanced scientific calculator may not benefit as many people as other
applications, it will greatly improve the lives of students enrolled in
mathematics and science courses as well as professionals working in related
fields. And don't forget, I believe I remember Dean or Jonathan commenting
on this list several months ago that the recent enhancements to the
scientific calculator are just the beginning of more to come. Sorry to
restate comments I have previously made to this list, however, I felt them
to be relevant to this topic.

Subject: [Braillenote] Factorial, permuntation, and Combination
Dear HumanWare Staff,
I know there was just am improvement in the scientific calculator, but I
was wondering if there is going to be any further upgrade in the next
upgrade; if there is going to be more improvement in the scientific
calculator sector, I would like to suggest the ability to do probability
functions such as: factorial, permutation, and combination. I know that
there may not be that many people who are going to use the scientific
calculator to this extent, but I really believe if it's possible, why not
do it, especially if it means bringing equality in terms of access.
Well, I really hope these functionalities will be implemented.
Kevin
