This is Jospeh. In JAWS 7.1, you can specify com ports that are greater than 4. In previous versions, you can go up to com 4. So, for example, if the com port is 5, you have to use JAWS 7.1 in order to use it properly.

And, perhaps I just gave up on them too soon, seeing as I had the Belkin adapter. But, what happens if you do an insert f11 to get to the system tray, arrow down to bluetooth devices, tab twice to the left double click and press the spacebar, and then control tab to the com port page. Well, if nothing else, maybe this will get you into the settings area for the Microsoft driver. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Scott E Ford" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'Braillenote List'" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, August 16, 2006 1:42 PM Subject: RE: [Braillenote] remote synth via bluetooth help please Vickie, The windows driver seems to be working fine for me. I need to tell the jaws driver to what comm. Port the pk is on. Does this sound right? Or Do you think that I need to install the widcomm drivers?
