Hi Therese:
I wish I had an embosser so that I could look at this with you.
However, maybe there is something here this will help. I can't
remember what kind of embosser you have. I thought I still had
your message, but guess I have deleted it. Information was given
recently about embossing, so I'll paste it to this email.
In order to emboss on both sides of the paper, go to the
embosser setup list
and when it asks if your embosser embosses on both sides of the
paper, say
no; that's really weird but when you say no, the Juliet will
emboss on both
sides of the paper. For small Braille paper, I set the page
width to 30 on
the MP-OWER and page offset to 2. For large Braille paper, I set
the page
width on the MP-OWER to 40. For both sizes of paper, set the
paper length to
25. For the serial port, baud rate is 9600, parity is none, 8
data bits,
and hardware handshaking.
Do the following for the Juliet: 0.2E, 1.0E, 8.1E, (for small
paper 14.32E
and for large paper 14.42E), then for either size, do 30.05ence
and 1.1ence. This
will make the serial port the default menu on the Juliet.
I hope this helps--it works for me. If it doesn't work, I'd
suggest calling
Cheryl or Jim at Enabling Technology's tech support. They were
both helpful
and took the time to make sure my Juliet and MP-OWER were working
together
right.
Let me know how things work out.
