This is Jospeh. There is a technical differences. When you use R switch, the
battery compartment will be turned off, and when it goes flat, it will
restart the charge. When you choose F switch, the battery compartment will
not be turned off, which means that you do not plug your charger unless the
batery goes flat. I'm not of the technical details behind it, so I'll leave
this to HumanWare engineers.

Subject: [Braillenote] Support Information mode

Dear List,
I ran into a dilemma while trying to recalibrate my battery. The dilemma I
came across was there is an option to run your battery flat by using the
letter f or to recalibrate using the letter r.
The dilemma I had was what does what and what is the distinguishable
difference between the two?
Thanks
Kevin
