The word processor is capable of doing everything from simple notetaking to 
creating complex documents.  The book reader, on the other hand, is designed 
strictly around the concept of reading without modifying the text.  For 
instance, I can be working on documents in the word processor, and can also 
open the book reader and continue reading my favorite novel exactly where I 
left off without having to go hunting for it.
