I think we need to remember that with the recent loss of Dean, perhaps there
has been some reorganization going on, to say nothing of grieving and time
being taken off for the funeral, etc. I don't know a whole lot about the
inner workings and organization of Humanware, but I can't help wondering if
perhaps things changed a bit after Dean's death, which changed the
"caughtupness" of the mPower orders to a non-caught-up status. Whatever the
cause, it's of course frustrating to those who are waiting, and I'm sure
it's frustrating to Humanware too, who want to meet their customers' needs.

Robert,
When I placed my order I asked how long they thought it would be and the
person said they were caught up and it would probably be about a week
before they called me. When I spoke to Humanware in California yesterday
they said it could be as much as 2 or three weeks or longer because they
were out of kits and did not know when they would be arriving.

Hello Virgie,
I would say to you, hang in there.
I don't know and won't pretend to know why they are taking so long, but I
would say that when the origional transplant took place, back in October,
they were doing very well on the braille keyboards side but the qt
keyboards were going slower.
I would only imagine, that things have been delayed in New Zealand,
because of all that has happened lately.
It is a very good product, and though I have had some issues Humanware
has worked with me, and they have fixed the problem and the next release
from what I have been told, will be taking care of that, so they really
do try to work with people.
It might seem like it is taking forever, but as I said, hang in there,
and you will get yours soon.
Robert

Hi,
I have ordered a transplant and have been told they do not know
when they
will get the kits in. BrailleNote is a great product but the
California
devision should order enough to serve their customers. I have
been waiting
almost a month and I am seriously considering canceling my order.
I want
the product but feel this is not an appropriate way to treat
their
customers. I wish something could be done to fix this problem.

No, I have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. You
see,
Humanware has told me that they don't even have the unit there
to ship to
me. If it were already in the mail, I could see what you're
saying.
However, that's not the case, and I don't know when it will be
in the
mail. Thanks anyway for your reply. Isaih
