You may know that I've bee checking out wireless service and cellphones. It is interesting that few people I know, either blind or sighted are using Verizon. This prompts me to ask if you have considered a different ISP? (My son, who is in the Military, used one of the air cards you mentioned. It came from T-Mobile. However, since he is going back to sea, he doesn't want it any longer and switched to Cingular. He told me they offered the best package for someone with a family--he has two boys and the Cingular package also covers the younger one.)
Your wife has my sincere sympathy! Can you have her E-Mail stopped for awhile?
