For those who are deaf, the planner can be a problem. Sorry if I make assumptions here, but I know no one deaf. Anyway, why not use the bluetooth ore something to connect the BN with a little vibrating device the person keeps all the time? Instead of beeping, or along with it, this device vibrates in the user's pocket when the alarm is triggered, and stops when the alarm stops.

Frankly, I think Humanware  has already  incorporated a chunk for
those  who are only blind--e.g.  FM radio, Media Player-- and I
wish  there was some  consensus so  we could keep the BN  user
friendly to all!
