Friends:
I am asking this question because, I don't know the answer.
I use a Braillenote. I do not ordinarily use the speech.
In fact, the only time I do use the speech is when I am working with a
student who is not a Braille user.
Since I can do everything on the Braillenote using Braille, I would like
some of you who are deaf blind to explain what you feel is bad about the
Braille support.
I am not saying that anyone is right or wrong here; I am saying that I
can do web browsing, email, word processing, the planner, and the
calculator without using speech.
Therefore, I am frankly curious as to why deaf blind users feel that the
Braille support found in the Braillenote isn't good.
Ladies and gentleman, this is not a message intended to flame anyone, I
simply want to understand.
Thanks.

Hello Ann,
It seems that, with all the exchanges, folks have forgotten that some
were
asking for improvements to the FM and Medica Player. That was what
started
me thinking about the upgrades. (Manyh who are deaf-blind are saying the

PacMateis more for them than the M-Power. If they can find funds, I
guess
that is the way they will go. GIven our small size, I doubt that will
hage
any bearing on what HW does with future upgrades. Since I already own
an
M-Power I'll just have to hope I can find a solution, so I have good
braille support.)

Take care.

KC
