If the hotel offers ethernet connectivity, they will probably have a network
cable available in the room for you to connect too.  It will be on the desk
attached to something.  Just grab the end of the network cable coming from
the thing on the desk it is attached too, and plug it into the network card.

Be ware of something else.  Sometimes, hotel network services require you to
register to use them.  What you do is after you connect the network cable,
go into the internet option from the main menu.  Use whatever default web
address you have there and hit enter.  You will be re-directed to a website
other than the one you have set as a default to do the registration.  You'll
have to do some playing around to figure out how they want you to register.
They may want you to pay the internet service the hotel contracts with
directly by credit card or they may allow you to sign up to pay the hotel
when you check out.  Once you get through whatever registration process
there is, you'll be able to check e-mail, browse the web, ETC. just like you
can at home.
