Hi John, This braille display crashing thing used to happen to my braille note. I could fix it temporarily by exercising the braille display. I'd either go into support info mode and exercise it from there, or I'd find a long web braille book, start at the top and just let it go. it would take several minutes, sometimes even half an hour, before the display would start working again.
