Hi, I can see a reason for such a reminder. I leave my Braille note in a
document most of the time so I can easily get it out and write a note in it.
But what sometimes has happened to me is the Braille note gets turned on in
my backpack and a hole lot of letters get put in my document that I don't
need there. So even though it goes into sleep mode when a button is pressed
it wakes up so in a bag if it accidentally comes on it may go into sleep
mode but be woken up by a movement. So if it sounded a alarm then I would
know it was on and would be able to reach into my bag and turn it off.

well that's just my thoughts.

Hmmm,
I guess you're right, I hadn't thought of that.
