No, your personal info is all saved on the flash disk, and therefore won't be erased with a 4-5-6 reset, or any other flavor of reset, for that matter.

Hi Isaih, Yes, you should only need to do the 4-5-6 reset occasionally, usually when the disk starts to get full. The Keysoft system disk has around 31MB free when it's "clean", so I usually perform a 4-5-6 reset when its free space shrinks to around 10MB or so. Just keep an occasional eye on your disk space, and you should be fine. The 4-5-6 reset not only cleans out the temp files directory, it also erases all your cookies and any other temporary content that ends up on the KS disk. I hope this makes more sense. Hello Sarah! Thanks for replying to my post. Now I have a clear understanding of what's going on, but I wanted to ask you, is it necessary to do the 456 reset since you say that all the temporary files are being deleted anyway? I just want to make sure that I'm understanding exactly what it is that you're telling me. I appreciate your help. [Smile] When you delete temp files, they really are deleted all but this one tiny file, so in spite of what it looks like, you actually do get rid of your temporary internet files. One other way to get rid of all those things at once, including the dat file, is to perform a 4-5-6, JKL, reset, which clears all extraneous data from the Keysoft system disk. >HTH, >Sarah >-----Original Message----- >From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of project one >Sent: Friday, May 19, 2006 11:17 AM >To: Voice Note >Subject: [Braillenote] temporary files? >Hi list!
