But what standard is the BT chip? I thought I read that there are a few standards for it as well. So USB 1.1 (or 2.0) compliant mean that they can take either type of device, but 2 is faster? I had it in fy head that the ports were either 1.1 or 2, but that 2 could use 1.1 devices. Oh, never mind. I'll just google it. I wonder if google is in the dictionary as a verb? If not, it should be.

This is Joseph. There are many USB standards that has been
published: 1.0,
1.1, and 2.0. Generally, 2.0 compliant devices work faster than
a 1.1
compliant device. The Bluetooth adapter is a chip that is
mounted on the
motherboard.

This is just idol curiosity, but... They can take 2.0 devices,
but what are
they? Along with that, what type is the bluetooth adapter?

This is Jospeh. I have tested my Passport hard drive (a full USB
2.0 drive)
and it works fine. So I believe it is 2.0 compliant.
